Debra K. Osteen, UHS Senior Vice President and President, UHS Behavioral Health Division, has been named as one of the "Top 25 Women in Healthcare" for 2011 by Modern Healthcare magazine. This is the second time Ms. Osteen has received this prestigious distinction; she was named for the first time in 2007.

FORTUNE Lists UHS as One of the World's Most Admired Companies

The March 21, 2011 issue of FORTUNE listed Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE: UHS) as one of the World's Most Admired Companies. To appear as Most Admired, a company must have scored in the top half of its industry survey, conducted by Hay Group. The survey started with approximately 1,400 companies: the Fortune 1,000 — the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue; non-U.S. companies in Fortune's Global 500 database with revenue of $10 billion or more; and the top foreign companies operating in the U.S. UHS is included among the 350 Most Admired companies. The company ranked as #3 among the healthcare industry and #2 among the Most Admired in Pennsylvania.
