Forbes Recognizes UHS Among America’s Top Public Companies
The inaugural list of FORBES’ America’s Top 500 Companies ranks UHS 275. The ranking is based on a composite score from equally weighted measures of revenue, profits, assets and market value as of March 31, 2017, closing stock prices and common shares outstanding. Forbes used data from FactSet Research systems and the latest financial information available for the ranking. In addition to being recognized among America’s Top Public Companies, UHS ranked 960 on FORBES’ Global 2000 list.

Fortune listed Universal Health Services, Inc., (NYSE: UHS) as one of the World's Most Admired Companies again in 2017. UHS is consistently named to this prestigious list, which is named by more than 15,000 senior executives, outside corporate directors and industry analysts who are asked to rank companies based on nine attributes. In the category of “Health Care: Medical Facilities,” we ranked in first place for Innovation, Financial Soundness and Global Competitiveness, and second overall among all companies in the category.
