Physicians prefer for their patients
Having served on the staff of George Washington University Hospital for over 30 years, I have been very impressed by the many changes - all of them positive - that UHS has implemented at our hospital. Chief among these is an excellent management team composed of people who clearly know how to run a hospital, and who have a vision for the future.
I see UHS as being very much pro-physician. They have interacted extremely well with the physicians of GWU, and have made a tremendous effort to get to know our medical staff and the challenges we face. Because of this involvement, and because of the many operational improvements UHS has made, physicians have greater confidence about bringing patients to the hospital. And, we have seen a much more positive reaction from patients who have been here.
